Several of our titles celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2019.

Our brands reached some key milestone anniversaries this year. Read below how each celebrated in style.

Vogue Australia - 60 years

Vogue Australia went all out for its 60th anniversary. The print issue featured Nicole Kidman on the cover, while the digital magazine was fronted by actress and comedian Celeste Barber, who also took over from the Editor-in-Chief Edwina McCann – for one day only. The team organised the largest ever Vogue-ing flash mob in Sydney, where readers danced in black Vogue t-shirts, led by Celeste herself.

Vogue Germany - 40 years

The number 40 decorated the covers of each Vogue Germany issue this year. Throughout the year, the brand dedicated its issues to sustainability, age, art and looking into the future. In April, the brand eliminated single-use plastic wrapping, in celebration of its sustainability issue, with model and activist Gisele Bündchen on the cover.

Vogue Mexico & Latin America - 20 years

Powerful women and indigineous cultures were at the heart of Vogue Mexico & Latin America’s 20th anniversary issue. The six special covers featured Mexican architect Frida Escobedo; María Lorena Ramírez, a runner, and member of the Rarámuri tribe in the state of Chihuahua in Mexico; Zapotec chef Abigail Mendoza Ruiz; and the Cholitas Escaladoras from Bolivia, a group of women who are known for their toughness.

Vogue Japan - 20 years

Model Adut Akech wore Comme des Gar?ons in Vogue Japan’s 20th anniversary issue. The issue covered the latest technological advancements in fashion, lifestyle and beauty. The brand also released a special book to celebrate two decades of Vogue in Japan.

GQ Italia - 20 years

“Power of Love” was a message GQ Italia shared with its readers on its 20th anniversary cover, featuring actor Brad Pitt. The brand also started a campaign #20ReasonsToBeGentlemen, where influential men, from Pitt himself to Viggo Mortensen and Justin Timberlake, shared what it means to be a gentleman in 2019.

GQ China - 10 years

GQ China hosted a special GQ Men of the Year Awards in Shanghai Exhibition Center. The brand also partnered with designer studio PRONOUNCE to create t-shirts, which profits went to the Overseas Pakistan Foundation.
